It was described as having a tri-clad bottom. I’ve brewed with it 5x now on my induction burner and it works very well. **Q: If I wanted to add a regular downturned spout to this, has anyone seen such an item?** A: I don’t think it would be an issue as the spout is mounted with a threaded nut on the inside of the pot **Q: can i deep fry in this as well as boil?** A: yes, it is designed as a turkey fryer and should have no problems for deep frying.
