It's warm enough for the extreme cold weather. **Q: Does it leave down on your clothes like if a cat was wearing it? I used to have 100% down coat and remember that problem.** A: no it does not .. it has down inside the pockets that is so soft that will leave off on my gloves some that is it. I love this coat. you do have to be careful zipping up so it does not get caught in the material that is the only draw back but the warmth of this coat and the nice fit so you don't look like a marshmallow makes it all worth while. They are deep pockets though. I love this jacket. Also, because I sweat while hiking and walking, I didn't want to be too warm. But I was amazed of how warm it was while sightseeing in Reykjavik, even at night when it was windy and rainy. It is especially snug in my breast area. I have a stomach and it is snug on my stomach, but not as much as my top area. I'm going to keep it because I can still zip it up.My wishes-I wish it was about 3 inches longer. It feels shorter than I thought it would be and with my curvy hips, I prefer my coats to cover all of my hips and butt up. But it feels like a mini skirt.I do love it, just need to lose some weight. It feels like nice material. And the faux fur is elegant.Sorry for the ridiculous pics, but I'm just showing how it snugs on my belly. I did end up choosing this coat because it had a cinched waist.
