It came with the trigger pull preset with a very light pull . I am extremely pleased with the whole package and would encourage anyone looking to buy a trigger release to really consider buying this one . Great product for a lot less money . ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great execution, warm leather, professional trigger feel. *by J***S on November 8, 2015* After trying many releases, I found this one to be comfortable, well made, and precise. It is difficult to find what "fits" when shopping for just the right bow-hunting accessories. Modern equipment is superb; therefore, it is highly subjective to review a product and I always tell everyone to try it and return it if you don't like it.Personally, I have medium wrists and wear a large-xl glove. This release works wonderfully. The trigger is very light. What do I mean? Compared to the squeeze of introductory models and barely touch to release premium models, the Fletcher is a happy medium. Not to light, not too consuming as to distract you from your aim. Lock it, draw, finger always behind the trigger, bring that index finger around and over, ever so slightly rest it on top of the trigger, begin to curl that index finger – focusing on your target....wham! Bulls-eye.My bow is no slouch. An Xcentric 7, 29" draw length, and 70# draw weight. This release does the job. Buy it. You can always upgrade and have a very nice backup to spare. ### ⭐ Did not trust product not to misfire. *by S***N on February 5, 2016* At first I loved this release.Let e start there.Also This is my very first year hunting. I was able to harvest a doe and a turkey via a bow.I have a partial amputation to my left palm, wrist, forearm and fingers.I chose this release after reading all the good reviews.I figured for the price it is worth a shot.Shipping was fast, service was great. Out of the box the release looked great.I quickly shortened it to it's shortest possible setting because I would be firing this release with the thumb on my gimp hand.It fit nicely, I had to pull it super snug but I was thankful for that.What happened that lead to my reason for a one star rating is the release pre released on me a couple of times.I mean to say there was no pressure on the release and it opened causing me to lose the D loop also having the release closed and laying it down or it bumping on something would occasionally cause it to open.I hoped to fix this by adjusting the release.
