Review: Best Bed I've Ever Owned - We bought these in Jan 2020 so we've had these for over 4 years. I did a TON of research on adjustable beds before we decided on these. There were certain functions that we HAD to have, several that we wanted and more that would be bonus but didn't really need. We wanted a King sized bed with two independently controllable sides. We bought two of the Twin XL bases and connected them together. We opted for the Lucid mattresses as well as the covers. Both great choices. - We HAD to have control of each others side. Mostly to raise and lower the other side to reduce each others snoring. This was non negotiable and very few had this option. Lucid did. Check. - We wanted a base that was quiet. The motors on the Lucid are well known for durability and they are quiet as well. Raising and lowering the base doesn't disturb the other sleeper. Check. - We wanted a base with "wall hugging" capability in order to better reach our nightstands while the back is up. The Lucid does not have that function. We would've liked that but the other options it has outweighed this. The remotes work great and love the programable positions of the TV, Zzzz, Reading, etc quick buttons. My only complaint is the remote we have doesn't allow control of the other side. I'm not sure if there is a newer remote available or not. The app is great. The app is how you can control each others independent sides if they are snoring. It also has a "Snore Detection" function that will slightly raise and lower the base to help control snoring automatically. I can't say this enough - The customer support from Lucid was and has been incredible. I mean Incredible. If you are looking for a quality built, reasonably priced, adjustable bed with great features; this is your bed. Happy slumber! Review: Incredible value - I see beds like this advertised for thousands more. The bed is feature rich. Vibration (message) is just that. Vibration. Its okay, but not really therapeutic. But it has so many settings and comfort levels. You can customize what you want and how you want it. The remotes have much useful flashlights on them too. The 12" mattresses are fantastic. We even added another thin topper to make them truly like sleeping on a cloud. They are medium/firm. But extremely comfortable. The base is well made. I read some people had problems. Non here. They are solid. Highly Recommend this bed. Only drawback to a split king. The space between the two mattresses. But that is the way it is for a split custom setting king bed. Not a fault of the product itself. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Definitely a two-person job when moving and setting up bedframe. *by M***H on January 13, 2024* Bought a split-king, that's two single bases. make sure if adding a headboard, you must purchase the adapter kit from Lucid if not using a Lucid headboard. The Lucid headboard adapter attaches between the legs and the base so best have that before setting it all up or you will end up turning the bases over again and removing and re-attaching the legs. There will always be a small split between the mattresses, sheet suspenders on the mattresses may fix that if it's a problem. Motors are quiet and smooth but both sides will feel vibration when one side uses the massage function when bases are touching each other. Just the nature of the beast. All functions work well and the bed is very solid.
