Because of health issues I wasn’t able to wash my long, thick, curly hair for almost 3 months. Yuck. I was trying to find something besides dry shampoo and saw this and decided to give it a shot. I use it this way and it’s fast, easy, and brings my curls right back and my hair looks clean unlike with dry shampoo: 1. I comb out my hair really well. 2. Section it off. First in half and then again so I have 4 large black clips holding onto 4 little space buns- 2 on top, 2 in back. 3. Take one section down at the top, shake the crap out of the can, turn it upside down and spray like a orange size amount in your hand-depending on how long and thick your hair is- and then I flip my head upside down (easier for me) and you have to work very quickly because the foam starts to evaporate, scrub it in at the roots and continue to run it through that section. I usually use a bit more on the back near my scalp too. Then I comb it again to get any loose hair out and it’s usually already dry. I twist it back up and put the clip in and repeat with the other side. I can do the back together but I don’t always. 3. Depending how long it has been since I’ve washed my hair, after Ive done the top sections separately, sometimes I’ll use a little more and go over it together. You can’t seem to use too much of this stuff like you can with dry shampoo. It has a fresh scent and doesn’t leave any white cast behind (my hair is dark brown). You also don’t need to wash it out in a day or so. Keeps it looking pretty good. And you can style it with anything you want however you want as soon as it’s dry. I’m so happy I found it.
Review: Great choice for fine hair - This product smells incredible! I have fine auburn colored hair. It took more product that I would have thought for really oily hair. I think this is why it took about five minutes to completely dry. However, this is the best smelling hair shampoo and left NO powder residue. I used it after one day of oil and it worked great. I tried it after 3 days of oil and my hair was too oily for it to work. However, if you are looking for a way to cover light oil - great choice!

A: Thank you for your question. Our Batiste Dry Shampoo is an aerosol formula that is sprayed onto roots to absorb oil & grease in between washes. Batiste Waterless Cleansing Foam is a rich, airy foam formula that is applied directly to hands while absorbing oil to refresh hair, but is less drying, leaving the hair smoother & soft, fresh, and clean-smelling. It’s particularly great for normal or dry hair that isn’t very oily.

**Q: Label says this contains butane — is the product flammable when it's on my head or just while spraying??**
A: Thank you for your question. As with most common household aerosols, the product in the can and when it is first dispensed is flammable. However the propellant & alcohol in the formulation will flash off very quickly and after this the product left on the hair will not be. Please ensure that the label directions are followed when using this, or any consumer product.

This product smells incredible! I have fine auburn colored hair. It took more product that I would have thought for really oily hair. I think this is why it took about five minutes to completely dry. However, this is the best smelling hair shampoo and left NO powder residue. I used it after one day of oil and it worked great. I tried it after 3 days of oil and my hair was too oily for it to work. However, if you are looking for a way to cover light oil - great choice!

I really wanted to love this after using their other dry shampoo for years. While it was lighter on my hair and didn't feel any of the build up that the other dry shampoos leave, I didn't notice my hair looking less greasy. Maybe I need to use it sooner? I do love the smell, it is easy to apply and does not leave your hair wet. I accidentally got some on my shirt and was surprised that it was super easy to wipe off and my shirt was still dry and no stain.
