**Q: what is the diameter of the part that connects to the existing valve?**
A: This fits a schrader valve and the head is about 2mm wider than the valve.

**Q: Does the spare tire valve have to be removed before attaching this extender?**
A: Do not remove the spare tire valve; there is a valve and a tire valve depressor in the extender.  When you attach the extender it depresses and opens the spare tire valve, then using the extenders valve as its valve.  

If you took the spare tire valve out, you would have to air up the spare tire from completely un-inflated, and you would have to leave the extender attached to use the spare tire.  so do not do this.

The same is true of the right angle adapter.

**Q: does this fit the airmoto pump?**
A: If the airmoto pump has a standard fitting for a Schrader valve stem , yes.

**Q: what tool can i use to get a grip on it to tighten it in a space where i can really get a good grip with fingers? some kind of pliers? And would licti**
A: I dropped my wife's spare and drug it out from under her GX460 so I could get to it since the valve stem was mounted upwards. I did use a small pair of channel locks to snug it down gently. Just don't overtighten.

Inflator valve on my motorcycle tire is positioned so it's hard to get a pressure gauge on it. This 90-degree fitting makes it much easier to check tire pressure.
