Saves on me forgetting I set a recorder down and walking away from it.  Also helps with people having slippery fingers and dropping recorders too.  The only thing that docked a star is that while the sound quality isn't bad, it still isn't as clear as our $50 recorders.

It is very clear when recording and paly back.  The only drawback is that you can't have instant playback like a digital recorder.  You need to listen to it on a laptop or computer.
