## Overview

The Bestway Wall Mount Surface Skimmer is a corrosion-proof, easy-to-install pool accessory designed for above ground pools. Compatible with filter pumps of 530 gallons per hour or more, it automatically collects floating debris via a removable basket, reducing manual maintenance and maximizing your pool enjoyment.

## Description

The Bestway® Pool Surface Skimmer is a highly effective way of clearing debris from your above ground swimming pool. The surface skimmer simply hooks over the inside wall of your pool, near the suction inlet. Attach it to your filter pump (Fits the filter pump with 530 gal./h (2,006 L/h) flow rate and above) and watch as it starts to automatically gather debris. When the skimmer is full, it can be emptied for reuse. The adjustable mounting bracket allows it to be leveled with the surface of the water. Since the skimmer is made from corrosion–proof plastic, it is easy to clean and maintain. Recommended for all Bestway® Above Ground Pools except for the Steel Wall pool. Install the Pool Surface Skimmer today and spend more time enjoying your pool this summer.

Review: Helpful! - This skimmer has been a life saver for our pool! It did not come with one, so we purchased this one to help keep our pool cleaner. It was very easy to install and the hose it came with was thicker hosing. Not the thin cheap hoses you normally expect. It could be a little bigger, but given the amount of suction from the midsize pump-this is an efficient size. Overall, I highly recommend this skimmer if you do not have a slimmer. It really helps keep your pool so much cleaner!
Review: Just buy it - Year 3 with my pool and can’t believe I’m just now getting this. I have a best way 20’ pool from a big box store. For year 2 I upgraded the filter to a 2800 gph sand filter. I have 2 inlets for the pump and I was able to use the connector from this kit to hook up to one of the grey plastic inlets that came with the pool. I had to remove a Philips head screw to allow the screen to spin off. I keep the water level low so my kid can touch bottom but this was able to reach low enough to perform skimmer function. It’s been doing great with the pump I have, even with that second inlet open. I can restrict the other inlet if I really need a vortex in the skimmer but that doesn’t seem necessary. It connected to the metal rail with no issue.

## Features

- CLEANS AUTOMATICALLY: Attach surface skimmer to the pool's filter pump for automatic skimming and suction, so it does the hard work while you relax and swim.
- EASY SETUP: Simply place the surface skimmer over the pool edge and watch it filter out leaves and floating debris on the water surface before they sink to the bottom of the pool.
- REMOVABLE FILTER BASKET: Dispose the pool debris with ease by removing the inner filter basket and dumping into the nearest garbage.
- FOR BEST RESULTS: Compatible with most filter pumps with flow rates of 530 gal./h (2,006 L/h) and above (not compatible with steel wall pools)
- REDUCES MAINTENANCE: By having an automatic cleaning system, you save time for fun activities rather than skimming the pool with a traditional hand-held net.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Serves it's purpose

Needed a skimmer for our above ground pool and this does a reasonably good job. Only complaint is that once hooked up, you can't open up your sand filter. The only way to do this is to either detach the skimmer from the water intake so you can plug the inlet, or remove it from it's mounting position and hold it above the water line. Very inconvenient.
