The inside flap keeps him from being able to throw grain out when he tosses his head. It’s also holding up well and showing no damage. It lasted 3 months for my other horse before he tore a 3” hole in the bottom. He paws when he eats (he does it no matter what he eats out of) and he stepped on it and lifted his head. I tried to sew it but it didn’t last. I have thrown the bags in the washer.
