Used on a 3D printer as part of a bed leveling probe *by T***7 on May 5, 2021* Currently using as part of a DIY auto bed leveling probe system that also uses a optical end stop sensor. I have it powered off my RAMPS 1.4 + Arduino Mega 2560 board. Works great. Had to use a jumper on the VVC + 5V pin and it seems to work without any issues. You can easily find several DIY ABL probes on thingyverse. The probe will cost less than $10 to make vs around $45 for the BLTouch.
