I ordered this because he was concerned about missing time on the field. It offered great protection and I got to relax a bit knowing he had something to keep his freshly set nose safe. Ordered the medium for a 12 (almost 13) year old boy. Biggest complaint was that he got hot easily.

**Q: Does this touch the surface of the nose?**
A: No The pads on your cheeks and on your forehead give a good inch of space. After removing the pads and putting it on my nose does touch slightly

**Q: Can you wash the velcro attachments (because of sweat)? How would you recommend washing them without it loosing it’s effectiveness?**
A: The Velcro is removable and washable. I would wash in delicate and hang dry to keep the elasticity

**Q: Can you wear eye glasses in this mask?**
A: No you cannot

**Q: Does it work for cycling?**
A: Yes it would work for almost any type of activity

I’ve tried two different masks and both were falling off because it didn’t have the middle strap. I broke my nose pretty badly surfing a couple of months ago and my surgeon advised to stay away from any kind of sport for at least a year. I’m probably going to buy 10 of these and wear them for the rest of my life doing any kind of risky activity. I can’t believe it stayed put put being slammed by 7 foot waves
