Review: Great tape - This is great tape. I'm on my third roll now. I've been using it to progressively cover a dangerously slippery marmoleum floor in a bathroom. It works well when wearing socks or in just bare feet, wet floor or dry. It comes in different grits. The "200" grit I bought is comfortable on bare feet and provides good traction. And it stays down. The pieces I put down in December of 2025 are still firmly attached. It's very easy to install. You cut the length you need, then round the corners (to discourage lifting) with a pair of sharp scissors. Peel off a few inches of the backing to get started, and stretch it out, peeling off the backing as you go. Press it down firmly (a wide putty knife will work, or the edge of an old credit card) and you're done. Once down it’s practically invisible. Review: Many Uses! - Purchased this tape to use on the floor of our new shower. It certainly did the trick and eliminated the somewhat slippery floor of the shower. But we found other uses for the tape as well. The stainless steel grab bar in the shower was very nice looking with it polished smooth surface. Bur it was too slippery to hold onto when your hands are soapy and wet. A strip of this tape on top of the bar took care of that problem as well. The best part is that the tape is almost transparent so it doesn't stand out and in fact almost looks like it was part if the bar to begin with. The hand held shower head on the end of the flexible shower hose looked beautiful with it's shiny chrome finish but was tough to hold onto when your hands are all soapy or covered with shampoo, A couple of strips of this tape also took care of that problem as well. So you see this Safety Walk tape has a lot more uses than just for walkways. And it's 3M so you know it's top quality. I liken it to 80 or 120 grit sandpaper. It would provide good traction, but might be rough on hands in a dry situation like you suggest. (It felt fine on our feet in the shower, although it didn't stick like it was supposed to). **Q: I'm needing something on wooden stairs -sealed and finished wood - to sleeping loft to keep grandsons from falling. Good for this??** A: This tape works really well on a shower base that was super slick when wet...I am pretty sure it will work on stairs...has good traction. **Q: Are the strips removable without the use of sharp tools? Is a residue left behind?** A: You don't need a sharp tool to remove them. Once you are able to life a corner with something like your fingernail, the strips come off without any residue. **Q: I have a walk in Roman shower with smooth small tiles with grout. Will these stick and work?** A: they did for me. But I should cut before the grout, water is trapped. good product. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great tape *by A***E on June 21, 2026* This is great tape. I'm on my third roll now. Seeing a man of his stature worry about falling in the bathtub was something I couldn't stand for. I’ve always considered 3M the best in the business, and this anti-slip tape proved why. We used the 2in x 15ft Clear tape, and the grip is outstanding. It has made his life so much easier and, more importantly, stress-free. He can move with confidence again without the fear of a dangerous fall. It’s a small investment that provided a huge amount of peace of mind for our family. Highly recommend for anyone looking to protect their loved ones. ## Frequently Bought Together - 3M Safety-Walk Slip Resistant Tape, 2 in x 15 ft, Anti Slip Clear Tape, Ideal For Slippery & Wet Conditions, Self-Adhesive Backing, Quick & Easy Application, Durable & Long-Lasting (220C-R2X180) - Rubber Roller, Ideal for Anti Skid Tape Construction Tools, Print, Ink and Stamping Tools (2.5-Inch, Black) - 3M Safety-Walk Slip Resistant Tape, 2 in x 15 ft, Anti Slip Black Tape, Adhere Without Wrinkling, Curling, Tearing or Lifting, Self-Adhesive Backing For Quick & Easy Application, 1 Roll (610B-R2X180) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/17313947-3m-safety-walk-tub-and-shower-slip-resistant-tape-clear](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/17313947-3m-safety-walk-tub-and-shower-slip-resistant-tape-clear) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
