Review: Works great!! - I used this switch (Dorman 85984) as an emergency open/close switch for a Mighty Mule gate opener. It works very well and seems to be very well-made. To give it more weather resistance, I housed it in a small round Tupperware container, leaving only the black button exposed to the elements. I was so impressed by the quality, I ordered another to use as, you guessed it....a remote starter switch!
Review: Failed after 6 months - Installed on my Polaris ATV because I didn't want to spend $125 on OEM switch, worked great for 6 months then failed this weekend. For the money I just ordered the same switch again, maybe will get longer than 6 months use out of the 2nd one.

I used this switch (Dorman 85984) as an emergency open/close switch for a Mighty Mule gate opener. It works very well and seems to be very well-made.
