(In these pandemic days, who is not using tablecloths on public picnic tables?) And when eating outdoors, what everyone seems to forgets about is, unlike inside the house, there is always that unplanned breeze that lifts the table cloth and dumps it and most of its contents on the ground, or worse, on the participants, which are what these clips are for. And no more having to find weighty items to hold down the table cloths (thereby using up all the room on the table), I ordered the 1.8 - 2.5 inch size. I found the clips just the right size, not too bulky, yet fully adequate for their purpose. They are stainless; so transferring rust stains to your table cloths should not be problem. They fit the picnic tables, desks, and other patio tables that we’ve used so far.)
