Review: Nice Sturdy Wooden Cane. Fashionably Rustic. - Good and sturdy. Although this is not a fancy cane, it has its own rustic charm. The woodgrain is lovely. The "handle" sits comfortably in my hand. Mine was about 36 inches long, so I cut it down to 34 inches. Now it's perfect. I plan to use it on long walks, when the arthritis in my foot bothers me. I'm looking forward to longer walks in the park AND looking fashionable with a nice sturdy cane. And if I'm attacking by a bear or something I can defend myself lol 😂😆

The stick tapered down to about a half inch in the bottom foot, but flexion was minimal even with all my weight (240#) on it. Unfortunately, the 37" option was too short for him. Brazos has a 40" option on their website, but not on desertcart. I would suggest buying a longer one, then trimming the bottom to fit. Their customer service was quick to respond and great advising me. They were also helpful with the return. =( Sad, because it was a nice and very cool accessory, if you need a walking cane.

Good and sturdy. Although this is not a fancy cane, it has its own rustic charm. The woodgrain is lovely. The "handle" sits comfortably in my hand. Mine was about 36 inches long, so I cut it down to 34 inches. Now it's perfect. I plan to use it on long walks, when the arthritis in my foot bothers me. My husband had an injury a couple months ago. His physical therapist recommended a cane to help with his balance and stability. I wanted to get him something unique and rustic, and this cane was perfect for that! It looks like it had a snake head! It was just a tad too long, but it was easy enough to saw 1-1/2 off the end. His therapist recommended get a quad foot rubber base for it, and I found that the supregear Cane Tip Heavy Duty - Self Standing Non-Slip Rubber Quad Base for Walking Cane with 1" opening works great with this cane. This cane is very solid, yet light in weight. I highly recommend it!
