I couldn't afford an original, but wanted the best replica that I could possibly afford. At about $1500 this is towards the top of the market and I had to take a deep breath before purchasing without seeing it in person, so I did expect a high quality. The chair comes in a single huge box. One of the feet on the bottom of the chair had a plastic piece that had snapped off before I got it out of the box (I just super glued it back on, no massive deal). Putting it together was trickier then I had expected - highly recommend the video. When you turn the armrests over, you can see the metal inside and it's not as polished finish (which doesn't matter, because once attached you never see it again) but I could see in one of my armrests the metal was a bit rusty and not in good condition which didn't make me feel great about the product. If I had my time again, I would probably save about $500 and get a comparable product further down in the market. I'm sure the supplier around the $950 mark is similar in quality.
