It is thin enough to wear inside of my Converse shoes but not my running shoes. Not that I'm running after a sprain. I started wearing this after wearing a large boot for two months. This brace has helped the healing process so much because it allows my foot to move naturally while still supporting the ankle. I love it! The only problem I had was I ordered a medium because my foot is normally thin. I wear a 7 1/2-8. The medium was way too tight. I had to return it for a large. My foot is still swollen from the sprain. Just keep that in mind when ordering. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ First successful brace/wrap I've ever tried. *by D***S on Reviewed in the United States on September 27, 2017* I had an ankle broken about 50 years ago - and it's weak. On uneven ground, the ankle gives sharp pain when it rolls - and I end up hobbling. I've tried simple pressure braces - like very tight socks, but they didn't do much - they squeeze the ankle but don't keep it from 'rolling'. I've only had this brace about 4 days, but it WORKS! You wrap a long section over and under and around in such a way it won't let the ankle roll, but doesn't keep it from letting the front of the foot move up and down. NO PAIN - first time in years. I promise you - if it stops working, I'll come back and change this but I don't expect to be back - I expect to by a second so I can put one in the wash and use the other. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Favorite brace, great price *by K***R on Reviewed in the United States on February 19, 2018* I love this brace, it really helps my ankles make it through the day. It's provides firm support, and I'm able to walk on it a lot more. I came back to order more so that I could have one pair to wash and one to wear and it says unavailable. I hope they'll be back in stock soon. This is similar to one prescribed by my doctor, but this one is more streamlined and does not stretch out my shoes near as much. I do wish they came in different colors.
