And yes, the towel is 'scratchy' as some people have noted in their reviews. However, this is exactly what it was meant to do. It's a great way to lightly exfoliate your skin each time you shower. I have always felt much cleaner as compared to the times I have had to use a regular wash towel.The other benefit is the amount of soap it holds when you lather it up. It's amazing how much it will retain until you use it where soap was meant to be used... on your body.
