**Q: Can this transformer be used outdoors?**
A: If your asking is it water proof, IT'S NOT.
IF YOU just want to use it out doors yes as long as it does not get wet.

**Q: How many termostat  can be connected to one one transformer ?**
A: Not sure but I would suggest one per T stat.... They are pretty cheap

**Q: s it possible to change the cable? I need a longer one.**
A: If you feel confident enough you could extend it easily enough

**Q: Would this work with a ring alarm base?**
A: A ring doorbell requires 16V to 24V A/C transformer. Do not use a D/C transformer or you could damage the doorbell. The ratings should be clearly stamped on the transformer. The transformer should come with an ample amount of wire to find your 120 volt source. Hook up the the wires to the base and you should be good to go.
