It seems to perform as well as my sister's All Clad stainless but cost significantly less. Heat conduction is excellent (try simply running hot tap water into a pan or pot with your hand on the bottom- in no time at all it's too hot to hold without a potholder - that's good conduction). I rarely have a problem with food sticking to the pan. I did get a fantastic tip that to prevent food from sticking, heat the pan first and then add your oil (or margarine/butter)- it does seem to work! For a while they were good, but then started to loose their non-stick finish. I believe I followed the instructions for use and care properly. I can't help but wonder if the family and I have been eating bits and pieces over the years - yuck! Anyway they finally got to where they aren't non-stick any more and are very difficult to clean.I started replacing them by purchasing the Tri-ply Stainless 8 inch pan. Wow!!! Seems almost more non-stick than the non-stick pans, very even heating, easy to clean. I think if there was one negative, it would be keeping it as shiny and new looking as when it was purchased, but so far that has not been a problem either.
