It would have been perfect in my kitchen if it were as pictured. Instead, I got a light blue -- as the name implies (sky blue marble), it is kind of like a summer sky with white clouds. So I guess I should have paid attention to the name instead of the picture, but online purchases can go either way. Anyway, it's a nice big crock that fits lots of wooden spoons and a few other cooking necessities. Just the wrong color. I'm not sending it back because I haven't seen one I like better.
