I have curly hair and for many years I was to shy to wear it that way. I saw a hairstylist that specializes in textured hair and she used this on my hair, so I decided to get myself some and I will never turn away from it! It smells good, it's lightweight, and best of all...it keeps the frizz down!! I usually use some mousse in my wet hair then work the curls with my fingers, and I apply Rene Furterer Acanthe Curl creme in my hair when it's beginning to dry a bit.I hope the picture comes out clear below...sorry it's black and white but you can see the definition and smoothness of my curls! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Not at all what I expected to see. *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States on December 18, 2013* My hair is naturally wavy; with proper product/coaxing I can get it to be curly (e.g., scrunch and let air dry). That's what I'd hoped this would do.I washed with the Carthame Milk Shampoo and then put this product in my hair, scrunching it and letting it air dry. When it was dry I had ***STRAIGHT*** hair! Straighter than I've ever gotten without a blow dry/round brush combo. My hair feels nice, and has shine and bounce, but it is not curly by any means; it is not even as wavy as usual.But - my hair is normally so awkwardly wavy that I don't even care whether it's straight OR curly, as long as it makes a change from the dopey waviness - so I'll happily continue to use this product when I want a straight look.Next day I curled my (second-day) hair with the flatiron and it held up pretty well (better than usually happens without curl product in my hair).
