The kit comes with plenty of wire. I installed the long light on my front bull bar and the two spots on the front corners of my roof rack. There was sufficient wire on each light set to run both directions. I put the switch in the dash and wired the hot lead directly to the battery. It could also be wired to any hot lead on the ignition, but it comes out of the box with enough wire and connections to do the job in most cases. **Q: How many amps does the light bar use?** A: The 20 inch light used 6.3A on 12V with my bench power supply so 75W. Based on what I have seen with similar lights it likely will drop the amperage with increased voltage to maintain a constant wattage. **Q: This light bar makes a buzzing noise when it's turned on.
