**Q: can pipe dope be used or Teflon fkr threads?**
A: Can be used but not recommended and not needed.  This is just a vent to allow water to drain.

**Q: Can this be used outdoor?**
A: [I'm not a plumber.] But, I don't see why it couldn't be used outside.  The seals might be more prone to wear if exposed to the weather.

**Q: What is the dfu rating?**
A: From their website:  “174020  -  2" Dual-Seal 20 AAV maximum DFU rating Individual and Branch 10 DFU, Stack 12 DFU”

**Q: can you just screw it on or is teflon tape required to seal the pipe threads?**
A: a little tape never hurts but not necessary.
