The case is not rugged or thick but durable enough to hold up to normal, daily handling. I'd transfer it to a more protective case if I were taking it with me somewhere outside the house. It's made of plastic with a very nice textural feel that provides a good grip. The cover folds all the way back so it's easier to hold the iPad instead of the awkward way of holding it with the flap open like a book like a lot of cases are made. It was well worth the money. ### ⭐ Serious complaints *by V***S on Reviewed in the United States on September 14, 2020* Found this item very hard with no cushioning at all. More critically, the opening for the camera does not line up its the camera on my IPad. We had to struggle to make it useable. There are molded buttons for sound and turning off and turning on. These are hard molded so adjusting sound is not easy and very annoying. I tend to turn my IPad off often and it is very difficult to do. One must press on the molded spot but that is too hard and I believe does not line up with the actual buttons underneath. Love the fun flowers but i will have to go to the expense of a new one before too long. I love the design and the material. It feels very nice and reliable. And the art on it is so nice.So far so good with my iPad not breaking when dropped. I also have a screen protector on it so that probably helps.The only thing is that I wish it had a built in pen holder/strap.
