It really doesn’t tan through at all, not even a little bit. The photo above is the difference between the amount of tanning bare skin with factor 50 sun cream and bare skin with just the bikini cover after one day out in the sun. The bikini covered skin is still pale and shows no sign of tanning but area of skin with sun cream has started to tan.
