    Refurb is a great bargain.

Just a few brief points:Cons:- Creaking plastic build is HORRIBLE, partially solved with Super Lube in moving joints.- Sometimes have trouble re-pairing, solved by using the reset pin button maybe once a month.- Micro-USB, since this is an old model. Cable is very rigid and short as expected for a USB cable, wish it were braided and more flexible for direct connection to PC.- No analog cable option (3.5mm, etc.) since all digital.- Touch control under left cup is weirdly placed and too easy to activate by accident.- Battery life is usable, but considerably shorter than more recent headphones on the market.Pros:- Sound quality is my cup of tea, overcomes all cons for me. I do like Audio Technicas in general.- Wireless range is decent, I can go across my apartment and still get a good signal. Walls are a problem, though.Comfort is OK, not amazing, I do have a large noggin. If these died, I would probably buy another pair.

the best bang for the buck bluetooth headphones

This is a factory refurbished unit that looks like new. I would consider these more as a "reference" style sound. The bass is good. It could use a little more depending what you are listening to. I have listened to music, watched movies and tv shows with this. you can hear all the subtle nuances that most other headphones miss in the delivery. For those who say the volume is too low or even whisper quiet, I found out the headphone volume is independent of the source volume. turn your source volume all the way up to 100% (pc, phone or tablet). On the back of the left ear cup, turn the volume up. The volume switch on the headphones controls the internal amp, not the source. Depending on the quality of what you are listening to, it does get loud. Most things I can keep the volume down by 2-4 clicks below max volume. Too high and it does get hard to listen to. Save your hearing.Cons:- It can only connect to 1 device at a time. My AKG N700NC M2 can connect to 2 at a time.- No manual pairing mode for bluetooth. If you have it connected to one device already, disconnect it in the bluetooth settings or turn off bluetooth. Turn on the headphones and pair to the other device.- Cannot quickly switch from one paired device to another. Disconnect or turn off bt of the currently connected device. Then you can connect to the other paired device.- Switches (volume and power) both feel cheap and rattle slightly. I do not feel they will break or be a concern down the road.- Could use a bit more bass. 2-3 db more would have been great. But the bass is deep and very present.- No 3.5mm cable or connector- Bluetooth quality is only 16-bit/44.1 kHz. it still sounds very good.Pros:- Excellent clarity, detail and sound- Great looks- Great build quality (despite the switches) of the ear cups and head band- Fast connecting to devices. It connects within seconds. the only faster connecting I have experienced were from my Hifiman Deva. But those cost $300 compared to the $60 I paid for these.- Connect to a pc via usb to use as a high res headphones. Same as my Deva.- very comfortable. This is subjective from one person to another. Just the right clamping force. Earpads are acceptably comfortable. Although, Brainwavz HM5 angled pads would be welcome on these. I may swap mine onto these to test. They are on my ATH-M40X now.- Very good volume (follow my instructions above). Source volume at max and adjust the volume on the headphones.- USB connection can be set to 24-bit/96 kHz for high resolution audio.I wear these around my house connected to my pc or iPhone. Music, movies, videos all sound beautiful. I would not buy these at the $250-300 new price. For $60-100 range, these are a deal. For $300, I would easily take my Hifiman Deva over these. Above $100, I suggest AKG N700NC M2 for better bass. Both have the same detail and clarity as these ATH-DSR7BT. They have more bass if you want that.I hope this helps someone out there. "Audiophile/reference" level headphones under $100 is insane of a deal. I am very happy with these.
