I had to wash the carbon quite thoroughly to removed most of the black water (which is to be expected). the carbon is of a good quality however some pieces are much longer than i expected, so i had to do a fair bit of manual crushing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really good product *by K***I on 9 May 2021* used in pond filter and waterfall box. Rinsed a couple of times in rainwater. Still quite black residue however it did not leach into pond. All good. Am hopeful it will add to water quality in wildlife pond.
