I love the style of this sandal but I was getting tired of paying $150 for a pair when they really aren't worth the price. I decided to Google 'Birkenstock knock-offs' and wound up here. Then I looked at Customer Ratings and Reviews and decided to pull the trigger. Like someone else said here, I can buy 5 or 6 pair of these for the price of one pair of Birkenstock. The fit and feel of these are equal and the quality seems to be equal. I even compared the weight of each and found these to be 1 1/2 oz. lighter (each shoe) than the Birkenstock. I attribute this to the leather being a bit thinner than the Birkenstock; and this makes sense to me to keep the cost low. Looks just like the more expensive brand. Nice quality sole but just FYI it isn't cork. It is foam but totally looks and feels like cork. Unless you examine it closely. These seem to be helping, my heels definitely feel better after a long walk with these vs the Crocs and rubber sandals I used before. Minus one star due to the cheap construction. Doesn't look like it will hold up after alot of use. Another reviewer said these aren't cork, but the title clearly says cork sandals.
