I closed my Directv account and found that with my existing tv tower from years ago, I could pull in about 9 channels on it.... then I tried a second antenna that is for inside the house .. and found I could get 7 or 8 different channels using that. But would have to unscrew the cable and and screw the second cable in to change to the other channels.I thought maybe if I bought the AB splitter I could feed both antennas into the device and simply switch it back and forth so I could get access to both sets of channels from both antennas and not have to keep unscrewing the two different cables all the time.To my surprise when I tried this.. and for a totally unknown reasons to me, I could pull in a few channels with the switch in one position but then I slide the switch to the opposite side, my tv pulled in 50.. yes 50 channels all crystal clear from the antenna tower... I have no clue as to why this happened.. but suffice to say I am not touching anything and will leave it as it is. I have 50 channels crystal clear and I am happy.
