I was on the fence as they’re not inexpensive. After 9 months of use I believe it to be a great purchase. I alternate 2 towels per week (which means each towel gets used on average 7 times a month and laundered 2 times a month). The reason I mention this is that their durability has not been impacted. In fact, they’ve gotten more soft and absorbent, in my opinion. They dry much faster after use than cotton towels and, don’t carry a damp odor like my previous cotton towels did. If there’s a drawback to any linen towel, you’ll be disappointed if you want to bundle up into a thick towel to drape over yourself after a shower in the winter - you ain’t gonna get that here. Not even close to being a showstopper for me, however. And btw, the small ‘check’ pattern on these towels are great. They are beyond well-made and way worth the price. Whenever that time comes where I need to replenish my linen bath towels, I will absolutely buy these again Review: Great Multi-Purpose Portable Towel - This towel is very absorbent, quick drying and extremely packable. It replaces much more bulky cotton towel for picnics, the beach, boating, swimming, camping etc. It comes with me on almost every outing. I took it with me on July 4 weekend to watch fireworks with my partner in DC and it was over 95 degrees out. We used it to cool off by pouring a small bit of water on it and using it as a cooling towel. The water evaporated quickly and prevented us from getting heatstroke, and was fully dry in less than It’s truly multi use and you can stuff it in a very small space. No it’s not as soft as a cotton towel but that’s the trade off you have with linen. So I wouldn’t replace your home bath towels with these, but I think a little roughness is well worth it for the portability. I’ve run it through the washing machine a few times and it has softened up a bit. I will be buying the bigger one next! ## Features - COMFORTABLE AGAINST YOUR SKIN – Naturally soft, these 100% linen flax towels are perfect for even the most sensitive skin.
