Before looking in his mouth, they ask if I brush his teeth (no), put anything in his water (no), give him regular dental cleanings (no). Then they look in his mouth and say,"OH! That's amazing! There's no gingivitis whatsoever!! How is this possible?" The application instructions are impossible on my cat. I use a CLEAN/sterile (boiling water), thin, pet medication syringe (have several from various medication treatments). Put it in the bottle with the plunger all the way down. Pull it up half way, STILL IN THE BOTTLE, press all the way down to get rid of the air bubble. Then pull up half way, take the syringe out of the bottle, and watch as I press out excess back into bottle until I get to .1 mL measurement. Insert in side of mouth, depress plunger fully, you are done (except for sterilizing the syringe). I do this every other day. Bottle lasts OVER a year in fridge from date opened before turning brown; in fact I have yet to see it turn brown, I get rid of it when it turns a dark green.
