Yes, you can use Motsenbocker’s Lift Off Paint & Varnish Remover to remove tub paint. However, we do not recommend on plastic, fiberglass or acrylic tubs. Dave Scranton Inside Sales Manager Stoner Inc (makers of MLO products) dscranton@stonersolutions.com **Q: Can this product be used indoors?** A: I would not recommend it - the odor is very strong (like nail polish remover). EZ Strip, another "safe" stripper, is a better choice for indoors. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wood refinish made easy *by W***S on July 1, 2026* This is a great product and anyone needing to refinish some wood projects it’s perfect works fast !! Kinda messy but it’ll get the job done ! Thanks ### ⭐ Not recommended *by I***Z on January 21, 2021* The product is very week and does not strip like citrus orange does. Not a great value. Sorry! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I would buy again. *by N***. on May 17, 2026* This product turned a what could have been a horrible experience of stripping the paint from these kitchen cabinet doors into a manageable project, the trim was a concern to me. I thought it was wood but it is plastic or bakelite glued on, it was strong enough to remove the layers of paint that filled the trim and restored the detail to maintain it's true appearance, but gentle enough that it didn't loosen the adhesive that held it to the doors or softened the plastic and distort the details. It was nice to be able to use a garden hose to wash the residue away followed with a wipe down of denatured alcohol to evaporate the water and moisture. Very effective when applied and covered with plastic to control evaporation and allowing the chemistry to do its work, the wait time to remove the bubbles paint didn't take long at all. The trim and corners did require several applications, a pick and patience to remove the paint. The effectiveness and gentleness make what at first was expensive but this product turned out to be a true value given what it was up against. I used 2-1/2 bottles for front and back, 8 cabinet doors, 5 drawer fronts and 2 filler blanks on sink cabinet. All parts were laying flat, no vertical applications was used, so I can't comment on that. ## Frequently Bought Together - Motsenbocker's Lift Off 41132 32-Ounce Paint and Varnish Remover for Wood Stain, Solvent Paint, Lacquers, Polyurethane Works on Cabinetry, Furniture, Wood and More Water-Based, Pack of 1 - Bates- Paint Scraper, 10 in 1 Painters Tool, Paint Scrapers for Wood, Painters Tool, Painters Knife, Paint Scraper for Painting, Putty Knife, Metal Scraper, Spackle Tool, Putty Scraper, Knife Scraper - Pro Grade, Paint Brushes, 5-Piece, Paint Brush Set: Flat & Angle Brushes for Latex and Oil Paints, Stains, Interior & Exterior Home Improvement --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/17540273-lift-off-paint-and-varnish-remover-32-fl-oz-41132](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/17540273-lift-off-paint-and-varnish-remover-32-fl-oz-41132) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
