A: It handles 3 60watt bulbs! I highly recommend the Edison 60watt bulbs...they look awesome in this fixture too!

A: My table is 59" and it works beautifully.  I would think it would work great for you too!  We all love this light and everyone that comes into our house compliments it.  I would suggest it being on a dimmer so you can get the lighting perfect.
