And let me tell you, it's a game-changer for anyone looking to beef up their emergency readiness or just enjoy some outdoor cooking. What's so great about it? Comes in its own carrying box and it's just the right size for camping or just having a cook stove for outside. It uses butane and not propane. Though they do make a model that uses both. This one specially only uses the cans of butane. I like it because it fits inside the little insert which has a cover. Just seems safer than having a 1# propane bottle hanging off the side. This buddy cooks too. Puts out a good amount of heat and has very good adjustment for between high and low flame level. Also has auto start ignitor that works great. I recommend this one. ## Features - INSTANT, RELIABLE START: Ignite your outdoor stove burner with a simple push-button electronic ignition, no lighters needed. Easily adjust the flame from a high-power boil to a gentle simmer for precise cooking control on any adventure. - POWERFUL OUTDOOR COOKING: Enjoy faster meals with a 12,000 BTU output that boils water quickly and sears food with ease. This powerful camping gas stove delivers consistent high heat, making it ideal for group meals and demanding recipes. - COOK SAFELY & CONFIDENTLY: A built-in wind guard protects your flame from gusts, ensuring consistent heat. For added peace of mind, an in-line regulator with pressure-sensing shut-off automatically stops gas flow if pressure becomes irregular. - GRAB-AND-GO CONVENIENCE: Pack up and head out in seconds. This portable cooktop includes a durable carrying case for protected transport and storage, making it the perfect hiking stove or a reliable companion for car cooking and emergency preparedness. - VERSATILE COUNTERTOP BURNER: Use it as a portable camp stove for outdoor adventures or a reliable countertop burner for backyard events. This butane burner stove is designed for stability and operates on standard 8 oz butane fuel canisters (sold separately). ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00PVIYZ1G | | Best Sellers Rank | #62,036 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #156 in Camping Stoves | | Brand | Chef Master | | Brand Name | Chef Master | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,318 Reviews | | Fuel Type | Butane | | Included Components | Portable Butane Stove | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 12"L x 14"W x 4"H | | Item Highlight | Brass Burner, Double Wind Guard, Electronic Ignition, Overheat Shut-Off, Hard Carry Case, Boil to Simmer, 90235 | | Item Type Name | Portable Butane Stove | | Manufacturer | Chef-Master | | Material | Alloy Steel | | Maximum Energy Output | 3516.85 watts | | Model Number | 90235 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | 90235 | | Power Source | Gas Powered | | Product Dimensions | 12"L x 14"W x 4"H | | UPC | 076903902352 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | Contact The FryOilSaver Company for Warranty claims | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Chef Master - **Fuel Type:** Butane - **Material:** Alloy Steel - **Maximum Energy Output:** 3516.85 watts - **Number of Items:** 1 - **Power Source:** Gas Powered - **Product Dimensions:** 12"L x 14"W x 4"H - **UPC:** 076903902352 - **Unit Count:** 1 Count ## Images ![Chef Master Portable Butane Camping Stove, Countertop Cooktop, 12,000 BTU - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81f508eF5+L.jpg) ![Chef Master Portable Butane Camping Stove, Countertop Cooktop, 12,000 BTU - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/811l1UeKpIL.jpg) ![Chef Master Portable Butane Camping Stove, Countertop Cooktop, 12,000 BTU - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81lwk0djpEL.jpg) ![Chef Master Portable Butane Camping Stove, Countertop Cooktop, 12,000 BTU - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/815n3y10BbL.jpg) ![Chef Master Portable Butane Camping Stove, Countertop Cooktop, 12,000 BTU - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/910nb7NpJ2L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can I use Gas One butane with this stove?** A: Yes you can use any type of butane cylinder with the chef master stoves. But where I live there is only electricity and I have missed certain dishes as a result. Stir-frying, blackening, and just that instant heat that you get from using gas. Likes: The unit cooks fast and though one might think butane would be used up quickly, it really is not if one observes their flame with care. At about 25%, a flame of what I would consider high is achieved, thus any more fuel used is superfluous. Blackening of meats as most chefs know, requires an extremely hot skillet. This unit gives forth in record time. As I still use electric and only periodically for special dinners, use this unit, I was able to gauge my butane use: 5 meals on one can of butane. The butane canisters can be gotten relatively cheap at WM in the camping section. Dislikes: The aforementioned flame adjustment has a kind of hair trigger. It is difficult to attain a very low flame for simmering, etc. It's not high or off, but the adjustment is not near as artful as a gas stove for instance. Overall, a great investment, cheap and I love being able to prepare meals with that instant-heat! ## Frequently Bought Together - Chef Master 90235 Butane Countertop Stove 12,000 BTU, Professional Quality, Portable, with Carry Case, High Performance, Electronic Ignition, Brass Burner, Double Wind Guard, 1 Burner - 4 x 8oz.
