The seller gave the below advice and it resolved my issues' For me the problem was that I was not using the power cord that came with the device because it was too short. Being that you have a smaller LCD, it might not look all that bad. Also, I noticed there was a slight audible 'ticking' from the audio. With a PS4, HDMI is the way to go... Even if you had to get a newer LCD Monitor/TV. Nonetheless, for way less than a new screen, this will work. Unfortunately it comes with compromise. I hope this helps. **Q: I have an old panasonic vcr and a Samsung smart TV. Want to see some old VHS tapes on the HDMI TV. WIll this work?** A: If your TV supports 720 and 1080, then i would say yes. If it does not, your TV probably still supports analog (the old Channel 3). I would try connecting the Coax from the VCR directly to the TV Coax input and try it.
