I had another brand which added much noise and ruined the HD detail.** A: Nope , did not. Actually w/ the high speed HDMI cable and the splitter seem to enhance picture s little. No real noise noticed. **Q: When using this device my screen keeps flickering. The input light goes on and off. The cable connections are tight. Any suggestions? Thanks** A: Have not had that issue. I have an issue with a 3D TV where the HDMI handshake on the TV end is problematic. It's mainly an annoyance as I can either delay turning on the cable box until the TV is fully up or just turn the cable box off and back on. Other than that it works fine. I would suggest trying another HDMI input device if you can for a test to eliminate any issues with your current device and try a different cable for the input. If you have more than one output device connected start with just a single output device until you have it working solidly. Also make sure that the power adapter if firmly plugged in. If the power LED also comes and goes then it might be power related. If you have another power adapter with the same plug size and polarity you might try that just to eliminate any power issues. The vendor was very responsive (as was Amazon's tech support) with troubleshooting my HDMI handshake issue so try them too. **Q: I have just bougth a Receiver Yamaha RX-A3030 process and send image and sound to a Sansung LCD 55ยด TV and A EPSON Power Lite Home cinema 10080P projevtor.As sources I have Cable TV (NET in Brazil) and Bluray Oppo 93.The handshake did no work with the Projector having no image no sound.I I have a 30 feet ATLONA flat caโ€ฆ** A: Look into HDCP - the projector may not support that if it's at all old. I have that issue and I have to reboot my video source every time I turn on any other connected HDTV.Either the audio is out or the video screen format/resolution won't be at it's fullest. HDMI OUT of the DTV box to the IN port on the ViewHD box.
