First of all it didn't work in the first step and after playing with that It suddenly started working( I don't know what happens). So I consider this item as unreliable item. Second you need to keep remote control few inches far from the box to work. I preferred to use the switch bottom since I technically can touch it instead of coming all the way towards the box .
