Very thick material that's perfect for Michigan weather. The lining is soft and I like that it shows at the bottom. Some hats you can't see the inside lining. Might appeal to women more than men though.I did get this for my boyfriend who has a bald head and he loves wearing this, says it feels great.The slouch is nice, can stick up in the back a bit though. There's a pretty large tag on it that has some nonsense engrish but I think it could be taken off with a seam ripper if you really didn't want it but I find it amusing.
