Well, much to my surprise these not only stay in place, they don't look like seat covers. At least not in my truck. They fit perfectly, stay in place and protect the upholstery. I couldn't be more impressed. One of my best, if not the best purchases I've ever had on desertcart. Review: Fits well, matches rest of interior - We have a Jeep Compass Trailhawk with the black interior with red stitching. This rear seat cover matches our interior perfectly and the seat cover also has red stitching! We have a pet cockatoo we take on trips with us and so we place his smaller traveling cage in the backseat. Between this seat cover and our all-weather mats, he can fuss and play and scatter his food and water to his heart's content without ruining our Jeeps interior. I'm thankful for that. The seat cover is also padded and provides some extra comfort, plus it's soft to the touch. Our full installation requires removal of the bottom half of the seat for the straps/hooks to pull the bottom part tight over the seat, but that's not too much trouble. The top secures around both headrests and does a fairly good job. There is some movement upon getting in, but it's easily corrected. Impressed with this product so far as we've put it to use a lot. Time will tell how it holds up over the long-term, but I expect it to do pretty well. Can someone provide a picture of the "foam insert bar"?** A: The foam is meant to stop the Bottom of the cover from shifting and sliding forward, off the bench. It Sorta works... for a lil while. Until the elastic gets stretched out or deteriorates from the sun & heat. For the same price, get one that can be cinched, using nylon strap & plastic clips , for minimal cover shifting. Also, they and can handle more sun & heat exposure than those that use elastic. **Q: do these seat covers interfere with heated seats or does the heat affect the covers? i have leather seats** A: heated seats work fine with these seat covers **Q: Does this allow for back seat air bags that come from upper side of the seat?** A: If your airbag is on the sides of the seat back, I don't believe it will be in the way. It's not a tight fit on the seat back as it only straps to the headrests. The seat base is a different story. I actually have to take the seat up to fasten the base. I'm not overly happy with this product-- it's not perfect, but it seems to be a way of temporarily putting the seat cover in place. I only use it on weekend nights. The zippers are helpful for getting the center shoulder harness out & usable or using the center rest if needed. The zippers work very similar to a jacket zipper. I had to return the first one I bought that didn't have it. I hope this helps.
