Review: I now have piece of mind and a better night's sleep! - On reading the reviews the only thing I was concerned about was the battery not fitting. To my surprise, a battery was included and already installed! My Mom was trying to get out of bed at night and I was so afraid she would fall. This alarm has given me piece of mind, and a much better night's sleep! The beeping is loud enough that I can hear it pretty much through the house, but it doesn't really upset my Mom at all (when getting her up in the am, it does go off, maybe an on/off button would be a practical solution?) But there is a button on the unit to push to stop the alarm. I've hung this on the foot of the bed, and it does have to be plugged it to an outlet.
