I honestly think the laces are made out of teflon because no matter how many times I'd double knot them they'd be untied in 5 minutes. Ain't nobody got time for that. I looked online for solutions and ordered 2 different types of lace replacements.First I tried the other ones. They were rubber pieces that you pushed through each eyelet. OMG horrible. It took 5 minutes using pliers to get one into the eyelet. Nope. It would have taken me almost a hour to do both shoes. It took 5 minutes to remove it and 2 minutes to set up the return.This set up is so fast and easy. You lace them through the eyelets just like regular laces, slide on the adjustable lock, trim the ends, and put on the end protectors. Both shoes were done in 5 minutes and they looked great. No more constant double knotting.
