It comes part assembled, you will have to attach the battery, steering wheel and seat. Delivery took longer than expected, but I was able to track the delivery and the driver phoned beforehand. Once unpacked and assembled, I could not get the mower started, I phoned the seller, who tried to pass me through to tech support but the call was dropped. I then tried to call back several times but I got an automated message saying the number was disconnected. It was then up to me to get it going. I followed everything in the troubleshooting section, but still no joy. I tried to push it, but unfortunately, for whatever reason it feels like the drive is engaged even with the brake off, so it's almost impossible for 1 person to push this mower. This meant I was desperate to get the machine started, just to clear it from the pavement. It turns out I didn't have the throttle quite in the choke position, and that's why it would turn over but not start. The reason for this is with the throttle lever all the way forward it was striking the grass height selector which was in the max position from the factory. The solution is to shift the grass selector to 5 or less, and you will find you can now fully extend the throttle lever. The second problem was then that reverse would not always engage. This was remedied by pulling out the split pin at the bottom of the gear selector and spinning the nut by one revolution to adjust the tension, then re-inserting the split pin. Cuts my 0.5 acre lawn in under 30 mins, down from 3 hours+ with a conventional lawnmower. Turning circle is very wide, and it can churn up the ground if you pass down a steep hill with the blades set too low (there is no wheel to maintain the deck height above the ground on this model) but all in all I am happy with my purchase. ---- Update after less than a year: Fired it up to cut my lawn for the first time this year, but the fuel line sheared off the bottom of the petrol tank, emptying the tank of petrol all over the ground. I cannot understand how this has happened in less than a year of use, very likely to be due to inadequately designed/specified parts. No response from the supplier when I tried to contact them, and I have no idea how I will fix this - the 5 year warranty is worthless. As per the other reviewer, avoid this lawnmower and spend more money on a named brand from a reputable supplier. Review: Absolute piece of junk. Stay away! - Only had it a year and the steering has broken. It says 5 year warranty but you have more chance of contacting Lord Lucan than these people. Sent numerous emails without any contact.
