I tested it and it blocks as expected. However, this sleeve increases the effective size of the card and hence does not fit inside the card slot of my valet. So basically this is not of much use now. I am planning to gift this to friends especially ladies who have got large purse pockets. I think this might be a common problem for all sleeve type of products. Finally, I ended up buying the RFID blocking valet.
