I'm buying a third one for my daughter and that's because the other two ended up in a tree. Incredible performance, minion one flyes the best in 10mph winds and higher. I have seen other people ( about 10) with same kite by xkite and always flying high without jerking. Last one that got tangled 4 stories high in a tree I was still able to retrieve the thread with apparently flexible hook that didn't snap broken.

A kit aimed at children should be relatively easy to fly - this on is not. It wants to dodge around unexpectedly, and doesn't properly stay aloft. It's also very low quality. The kite material is paper-thin, the support ribs are tiny, etc. The streamers on the end are too long, and lasted about 10 minutes before some snapped off. My 3 year old was ecstatic when this kite came, but a few tries at flying it killed his enthusiasm. Skip it.

I'm surprised that this kite has such bad review. I'm buying a third one for my daughter and that's because the other two ended up in a tree. Incredible performance, minion one flyes the best in 10mph winds and higher. I have seen other people ( about 10) with same kite by xkite and always flying high without jerking. Last one that got tangled 4 stories high in a tree I was still able to retrieve the thread with apparently flexible hook that didn't snap broken.
