It's nice to see a pre-workout that takes a more minimalistic approach and avoids cramming as much stuff as possible. The website does a great job explaining everything that's in this supplement, which is refreshing because I was tired of sifting through pre-workout ingredients to make sure I would not pop hot on a drug test. It's also nice to see that they have scientific reasoning to back up why it is included.The taste may take getting used to for some people, though I have had no issue with the flavor. I transitioned from using C4 (Fruit Punch, very sweet) for about 1 month to Optimum Apex for roughly the same amount of time, and I will say I feel much better taking this supplement. When I would take a single serving from C4, I would feel that shaking and tingling sensation bad enough to the point that I felt physically uncomfortable when I was working out. Other people may have not felt as bad as this, but I will say that since my transition to Optimum Apex, I have never felt that level of discomfort.
