Hard to downgrade the rating of shears meant for small plants for bending on bones, but I have another pair of Stanwood Butterfly shears with larger handle loops and shorter arms that are truly beasts. I call them "bone snips."I bent them back in to place and now use them as my shears in my kitchen and garden at home. Perfectly fine, very sharp, nice shears.
