Beveled edges so it's easy to hold. Need a smaller one now for my many smaller stamps in order to get an even pressure. I looked at many brands but they seemed suspiciously thin, in the customer reviews. Whether this brand cost more or not, the product is worth it. These are just as thick, heavy, and secure-to-grip as the largest one.
