This high-quality pure silicone rubber will seal the gaps around the sides (jambs) and top (header) of your door. The unique teardrop shape will ensure a tight seal while allowing easy opening and closing of the door. A 3M self adhesive strip on the back allows for easy peel and stick. Review: Worth it! - I think I should have left a roughly 1/16" gap between the edge of the door frame and the edge of this weather stripping, but it was easy to install and performs extremely well. Mind you, previously I just had a little gap with three rubber bumpers on my doorway, but the difference this product has made is exceptional. My door is a little bit warped leading into the hallway of my condominium, but this formed a seal just fine. This product also stopped any air infiltration as well as sound. Another reviewer commented that the product is spliced/in two pieces. This is true, but it looks like there is a roughly 4' long strip which is intended to go along the top of your door jamb, then there is a roughly 16' long strip which is intended to be cut to length for each side of your door jamb. Also, the adhesive on this product is a really nice balance between stickiness and ease of removal. I was doing a pretty poor job installing it (crooked), but it peeled off gently without damaging the paint so I could realign it. It has a pretty good stick to it, and it should be fine I think. The product has a slight smell once removed from the packaging, but I don't notice it standing next to the door after I've installed it. It has a high quality rubber feel.
