Ordinary 3.5 mm phone plug audio cords are usually too fat to fit into the phone while it's in the the case.This cable has a very small body to the audio plug and it fits perfectly into my iPhone 5S in its case. That solves a big problem I had with my audio players for the previous generation 30 pin Apple connector. Now I can use the Aux input port on my home audio player with my newer iPhone as well as using it with my car audio Aux input. So I bought two cables - one to keep in the car and one to keep with my home audio player.
